A Still Alice themed book club at APHASIA, Marc J. Straus's play in verse at The Chain Theatre, three nights only. Straus, a poet and former oncology chair, plays his own mother, Dora, a valedictorian at 76 who wakes from a stroke understanding everything and able to say nothing. Genova's Alice is a linguist losing language to Alzheimer's. Both books are about a sharp mind trapped inside. Tickets from $40.
