A Signs Preceding the End of the World themed book club at ¡Viva Pinocho!, Teatro SEA's bilingual Mexican Pinocchio written by Manuel Antonio Morán — a wooden boy born in Mexico who dreams of crossing to 'The Other Side' with the blessing of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Yuri Herrera's short, mythic novel sends a young woman across the border on a quest like a journey through the underworld, and asks the same question as the play: what do you keep of yourself on the way?
