Join a Book Club

A Children of the Stone focused book club. Sandy Tolan's book follows Ramzi Aburedwan, a boy photographed throwing a stone during the First Intifada who became a musician and founded a music school for Palestinian children. Ramzi is playing bouzouk at this concert. We will attend Sounds of Palestine: Music, Tradition and Contemporary Voices, presented by the Roosevelt Island Chamber Music Society. Suggested donation $25, $15 for students and seniors (donate here).
